"Amprius Technologies has targeted aerospace as an early application for its 100% silicon-anode batteries, with Airbus, AeroVironment, BAE Systems and Teledyne FLIR as early customers. Versions include high energy for stratospheric platforms, high power for eVTOL, and balanced power and energy for drones.   Amprius’ process grows silicon nanowires directly from the metal current collector. Today, we released our latest Letter to Shareholders recapping highlights from the third quarter of 2024! Today we announced Amprius has shipped SiMaxx™ A-Sample EV Cells to the United States Advanced Battery Consortium LLC (#USABC), whose mission is to meet next-generation performance and cost goals for electric vehicles.
