This month, we kicked off our annual #12WaysofGiving Program with our friends at Operation143 and STEAM FabLab Operation 143 collects food and drink donations that are then packed into bags by volunteers to feed food insecure students in communities across southeastern PA. On November 6th, 13 of TPD's volunteers gathered at the Operation 143 HQ in Pottstown, PA to pack 90 bags with over 2,000 items to be sent home with students to keep them nourished over the weekend!   TPD also made a donation to the Bucks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU)'s Fab Lab, which is a Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math (STEAM) education facility that works to make STEAM education engaging and FUN for all ages. The Fab Lab offers after school, weekend, and summer STEAM programs and activities for children and youth of all ages. This donation will facilitate attendance of 15 children for one of the Fab Lab's "STEAM Saturday" programs! If you haven't checked them out yet, you should! This November, our offices gathered for our annual Fall Harvest Parties, fondly known at TPD as the Spooky Turkey Party, since they fall between Halloween and Thanksgiving. We enjoyed a few moments away from our desks, sharing delicious, festive dishes together! As we wrap up National Pedestrian Safety Month and look forward to Halloween, it's a perfect time to reflect on the importance of pedestrian safety in our communities.   Pedestrian safety is a crucial aspect of our work in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. From well-lit crosswalks and pedestrian-friendly pathways to traffic calming measures and accessible urban designs, every detail counts in creating safer spaces for everyone.   Halloween is a night of fun and excitement, but it's also a time to be extra vigilant about safety.
