**World Philosophy Day 2024** Join us for a very special event just ahead of World Philosophy Day. Watch LIVE the keynote lecture by German philosopher and sociologist Hartmut Rosa. He will exclusively present his new concept, "social energy," at UNESCO headquarters, reaffirming the organization's role as a platform for promoting emerging ideas. Today's event also include the High-level plenary session "Philosophy supporting Youth inclusion" with Gabriela Ramos, Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences of UNESCO, Charlotte Casiraghi, Founder of Les Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco, Hartmut Rosa, philosopher and sociologist, Edwige Chirouter, philosopher and Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair Philosophy with children. Imagine 90% of countries adopting green curricula by 2030. This ambitious goal is at the heart of the Greening Education Partnership, a global initiative including UNESCO that takes a whole-of-system approach to support countries to tackle the #climate crisis by harnessing the critical role of #education. Yet millions of students still lack access to quality climate change education. At COP29, education has been recognized as an essential pillar of climate action, but it cannot succeed without greater financial support.
