We just had to share a short clip from 1994's #1 hit "The Sign" by Sweedish band Ace of Base in all it's mid-90s glory 🎶 🎺 🎸 By the time this song rocked the Billboard charts UASI had already been in business for 10 years as we solidified our name in Mid-Rev Cycle! "Within the grand narrative of global pop music, the Swedish quartet Ace Of Base were a blip, a one-album wonder who came and went. Between 1993 and 1994, Ace Of Base essentially conquered the world, and their hits from that album will always work as strange, anachronistic reminders of a very specific early-Clinton moment. Ace Of Base themselves were not terribly important, but the group’s short-lived success stands as a kind of proof of concept. In Sweden, a certain form of sleek, shiny, bulletproof computer-pop music was just starting to come into existence, and that sound would rule the pop charts in the century to come." -https://lnkd.in/gcK8WzUZ Check out which artist were at the top of the Billboard charts over the last #40Years by clicking on the link below! https://lnkd.in/gfGZGZfS

Rachel Mack MSN, RN, CCDS, CDIP, CCS, CRC discusses CDI Tips for Transient Tachypnea of the Newborn (TTN): Streamline your documentation with quick pointers for accurate coding and diagnosis. TTN, a common cause of respiratory distress in newborns, can be distinguished from conditions like neonatal pneumonia or sepsis by key symptoms and characteristic radiographic features. Pro Tip: Look for classic signs like tachypnea with clear lungs, fluid in interlobar fissures, and no alveolar consolidation. Code it under ICD-10 P22.1 and remember common aliases like 'Respiratory Distress Syndrome Type II' or 'Wet Lung Syndrome.' For full scenario and tips like these, link is in the comments! #CDITips #ClinicalDocumentation #NewbornCare #MedicalCoding #HealthInformationManagement #TTN #UASI

Want more #1 hits from the past 40 years? In 1993, Whitney Houston's chart topping songs, I Will Always Love you took the world by storm. But did you know that this song was originally written by country singer, Dolly Parton? "Country legend Dolly Parton wrote the song in 1973, for her one-time partner and mentor Porter Wagoner, from whom she was separating professionally after seven years. She included it on her 1974 album Jolene. Not only that, but she wrote the song in the same day as 'Jolene'! Elvis Presley wanted to cover it, but Dolly turned him down. Dolly was interested in Elvis' cover, but his people insisted that he be given a share of the publishing rights if he recorded it, which was a common demand at the time. However, Dolly held firm. This proved to be the right decision, considering how popular it was to become in the future. In 1992, Whitney Houston recorded a new arrangement of the song, for the soundtrack to The Bodyguard, her film debut. It was the best-selling single in the UK for 1992, and 1993 in the US. It remains one of the top 5 best-selling singles of all time worldwide, with sales of over 20 million copies." -https://lnkd.in/gjP52Ph4 Can’t get enough musical nostalgia?
