The Headstrong Project’s 11th Annual NYC Gala was a night of exceptional unity and impact, raising a record-breaking $5 million to support life-saving mental health care for veterans. We were deeply moved by the generosity of our 2024 Moral Courage Award recipient, Bob Parsons, who surprised us with a $1.5 million gift, which will significantly further Headstrong’s mission to reach “any veteran, anywhere.” General Jim Mattis captured the spirit of the evening with an important reminder: “What mission could be more important than trying to help our veterans who are struggling both in body and mind with what they experienced in combat while keeping the rest of us safe?” His words underscore our collective responsibility to meet the invisible wounds of service with steadfast support. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Carlisle Companies Incorporated, our presenting sponsor, whose support made this unforgettable evening possible.
