BCBSM's commitment to Michigan is what differentiates it from other health insurance companies doing business in the state. That mission has never changed. The holiday season is upon us — a time to gather with friends and family and create lasting memories. It’s also the perfect opportunity to prioritize important health conversations — which I’ve encouraged throughout my tenure as president and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, which began in 2006 and concludes at the end of 2024 with my retirement. Taking just a few moments to check in on your loved ones’ health can make a significant difference in their well-being as we head into the new year.

We are proud presenting sponsors of this unique Detroit tradition, which brings together local community and business leaders to flip and serve pancakes to guests, as well as offering an early sneak peek at the floats that we'll be seeing at the 2024 Thanksgiving Day parade. This year, Blue Cross is excited to unveil its new float, “A Better State of Health,” which tells the story of how our company has improved health care in Michigan. You can catch our float's grand debut as it rolls down Woodward on Nov. 28 as part of the 98th America's Thanksgiving Parade® presented by Gardner White! #ParadeCompany #AmericasThanksgivingParade #Detroit
