About us
Fidelis established its charitable body, The Fidelis Foundation, in December 2020. The Foundation contributes towards the promotion of anti-fascism, anti-racism, anti-discrimination, female education and empowerment, green education, helping to end poverty, prevention of cruelty against animals, and helping to end prejudice. Fidelis contributes 1% of its profits on an annual basis to allow the Foundation. This will allow the Foundation to increase its already significant support of charities. The Foundation provides a platform to enable staff to contribute to a culture of altruism and philanthropy aligned with the company values. The Foundation funds charities that are: efficient, financially sustainable, and have measurable impacts. These attributes are part of our selection process criteria. All selected charities have an employee advocate responsible for continuing engagement, including reporting on progress against targets for delivery and impact, and promoting wider employee engagement. Charities We Support Fidelis strongly believes in supporting communities and charities that operate both locally, and around the world. We actively encourage our staff to propose charities to the Board of Trustees and become Foundation Advocates to drive meaningful change and provide colleagues with opportunities to participate and engage directly with the charities. Fidelis also supports mentoring programmes for a number of charities and has long-standing relationships with both the mentees and charities. We facilitate volunteering opportunities that align with our core values, and encourage all staff to take part.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of National Museum of Bermuda! Rosetta Landy and Natalie Gillespie from The Fidelis Partnership recently had the opportunity to visit the National Museum of Bermuda, where they met with Executive Director Elena Strong. They were given an exclusive look at the museum’s restoration work over the past 50 years and learned about future plans, including the creation of more educational spaces for corporate groups and schools, as well as expanding the museum’s teacher-focused education programme. Speaking of corporate education, the TFP Bermuda office DEI Committee recently welcomed the National Museum of Bermuda to host an insightful workshop on ‘Emancipation, Segregation and Universal Adult Suffrage’. The key features of post-emancipation Bermuda were examined, including illustrative examples of personal and collective resistance to enslavement, segregation, and oppressive legislation. A special thanks goes to Lisa Howe, Debora Attwood, Chynna Trott and Amani Simons for hosting such a valuable and engaging workshop. The National Museum of Bermuda have been a partner of The Fidelis Partnership Foundation since 2021. #Bermuda #History #Community #Charity
