Dr Jitendra Kumar shared his views at the World Health Organization regional #workshop for capacity building in #Technology Transfer for #Public Health oriented intellectual Property Management and licensing models to increase access to Health Technologies organized in #Partnership with DBT BIRAC from19-21st November 2024 at Kerala. Addressing the participants, he emphasized on the necessity of #Innovation for #country specific #solutions and highlighted the role of #IP in strengthening the innovation landscape. He highlighted the role of DBT BIRAC in strengthening the IP, Tech transfer and licensing ecosystem in the country. He stressed on the role of such #collaborative workshops in inculcating and expanding the IP culture in the country. DBT-BIRAC and National Biopharma Mission are supporting the Regional Tech Transfer offices (#RTTOs) across the country established under NBM which is one of the largest TTO network operating in the country. The mandate of the 7 offices established is to create a pool of trained tech transfer professionals, to accelerate the journey of science to market and to foster a primed support ecosystem for IP commercialization.
