The President of The Borgen Project was recently in the West Bank visiting schools and medical clinics operated by UNRWA. The UN agency is the primary humanitarian organization assisting Palestinians. Israel's parliament has passed a law that will effectively ban the organization from helping people in Gaza and the West Bank. As with most humanitarian organizations, The Borgen Project views UNRWA as crucial to the region.
