CPhI Frankfurt 🇩🇪 2025 👇 Stand selection tips to CDMOs 👇 Some may or may not know that on July 22, 2024, CDMOs will be able to select their space for CPhI Frankfurt 2025 (CPhI Worldwide) to be held from Oct. 28-30, 2025. I encourage those in the CDMO business and their customers to encourage CDMOs to select stands in Hall 6 and Hall 5 (I can recommend Hall 6.1 ). WHY? The best events are when you have lots of meetings. Customers (potential or existing) do NOT want to get their steps in by walking all over from one hall to another on the other side of the venue. As part of the service side of the pharma industry, it is time to service customers at events by making it convenient for them to schedule meetings without factoring in time to walk 🚶♂️ 20 minutes 😓 to another meeting. I encourage you to connect with your team that does the selection of stand location and share this information. I would like to convey my sincere best wishes to all esteemed peers who will be in attendance at CPhI Worldwide 2024 in Milan. The anticipation for the upcoming CPhI is palpable. I hope your participation in the event will yield fruitful outcomes, leading to the establishment of prosperous business partnerships for collective advancement. Given the limited timeframe of approximately 2.5 days for the event, it is imperative to thoughtfully arrange pre-scheduled meetings. Unfortunately, time constraints may restrict in-depth dialogues and the ability to meet all intended business associates. Nonetheless, we can leverage virtual platforms such as LinkedIn, telephone calls, WhatsApp, and Teams to engage in comprehensive discussions and interactions, transcending the constraints of physical meetings for those with whom an in-person meeting may not be feasible. While time is of the essence, it is crucial to nurture mutual understanding and cultivate robust professional relationships, recognizing each individual's pivotal role in the pharmaceutical landscape. SHIONOGI is proud to announce a significant milestone in our work to help drive innovation in infectious disease research and development.  Responding to the urgent global need for additional antimicrobial R&D, SHIONOGI is expanding its global operations by establishing its first discovery lab In a pioneering collaboration with Qpex Biopharma, based in San Diego, USA. The Shionogi Qpex Lab will expand the existing R&D facility for Qpex Biopharma with a new state-of-the-art discovery laboratory at the SD Tech by Alexandria mega campus in San Diego.  The research to be carried out at the new facility will be an important step in the development of new medicines to help address future threats, including antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and pandemics. The joint expertise of Shionogi and Qpex scientists in this facility will enhance drug discovery and development efforts to ensure patients will have access to the innovative future treatments they need.  #InfectiousDisease #AMR #Qpex #Innovation
