The sacrifices we make for progress. Arcane Act II now streaming on Netflix.
Season 2 Act 1 left me with chills. I couldn’t wait to watch the chaos unfold with a vengeful commander at the helm. And then, in Act 2’s opening… it’s already over? Where’s the struggle? Where’s the fighting? The entire build up towards two warring nations and we get, practically none of it? And we’re supposed to believe Zaun has a new blue haired savior? Why? It doesn’t make sense. Less sense is the cryptic disappearance and reappearance of a main protagonist- who’s on a mission to destroy his best friend and life’s work? I love this series, but Act 2 doesn’t do the storyline justice. Netflix- I would 1000% fund extending this series with a paid option, just let the writers do their job instead of rushing.
This season has been genunely *art* ✨️ the gorgeous colors and animation, the eccentric breaks from reality, how time passes, the music, oh yeah and my t e a r s 😭
What a masterpiece. Thank you for this amazing adventure. As a long-term anime fan, I think it's one of the best animated series I've ever watched.
Can't wait!
Act II left me absolutely desolate, it’s a whirlwind of emotions that’s impossible to shake off. Without giving anything away, it’s clear that this is nothing short of a masterpiece. The storytelling, the artistry, the depth, it all reaches another level. Arcane continues to set a new standard for animation and narrative. Truly breathtaking
You might just have to pay my therapy bill for the emotional roller-coaster ride you are giving with this show, Riot Games. 😅 But in all seriousness, great job to the entire team of this show; from the artwork to the music to the VA's to the direction, this is a masterpiece everyone needs to see and enjoy! 👏
My kids asked me Dad is that what you played? Yes. Feels good. Lol
Wooow!! Arcane’s second season is a masterpiece that transcends animation, proving that gaming-inspired storytelling can rival the greatest narratives in art and cinema. With its rich characters, profound themes, and breathtaking visuals, it redefines what adaptations can achieve. This is more than entertainment—it’s a declaration that the gaming industry can think, feel, and create on par with literature and film. Arcane isn’t just a show; it’s the future of storytelling, a vision of how gaming and cinema converge to shape culture.
The time jumps were too extreme especially between act 1 and 2 (literally had to rewatch the last episode to make sure I didn’t miss anything) and the story as a whole feels a bit compressed in fewer episodes but regardless of that still a wondrous masterpiece
Definitely a must-watch! 👏
