Last week, Jogesh Panda, PE, PhD, Senior Engineer & Engineering Manager, delivered an impactful presentation at the Association of Vapor Intrusion Professionals Conference! He discussed the "Development and Application of a Spreadsheet Model for Sub-Slab Depressurization System Design for New Constructions," which included original research and application of a mathematical model. Due to the positive feedback he received, he sparked interest among regulators and professionals in the vapor intrusion industry. Thank you, Jogesh, for representing PM Environmental, A Pinchin Ltd. Company, and showcasing your expertise through insightful discussions. #PMEnvironmentalAPinchinCompany #SpeakingEngagement #VaporIntrusion #AVIPCA24

𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆? Meet the Optical Image Profiler (OIP) — a high-resolution tool designed for efficient detection of Non-Aqueous Phase Liquids (NAPLs), like petroleum and creosote, in the subsurface. Using advanced UV and green LED fluorescence, OIP provides a precise depth profile of contamination. Why choose OIP? It’s fast, producing up to 100 meters of data per day, delivering real-time insights, and providing highly detailed visualizations. This allows for quick adjustments during investigations and deep understanding of the soil structure and contamination spread. The result? Enhanced decision-making for remediation strategies with reduced uncertainty. Contact us for more information about OIP EnISSA - https://bit.ly/3TiHW5T #Sustainability #OIP #Remediation #enissa

During last week’s Pipeline Technology Conference (ptc) Conference, we presented a Probabilistic Corrosion Depth model, which calculates a future corrosion depth of metal loss anomalies without calculating a corrosion growth rate. How? Find out in this week’s blog post. https://hubs.ly/Q02sYlC_0 #pipelineintegrity #datascience

A close-knit pipeline network or obstacles in the pipe cause flow turbulences. These affect accuracy, which is indispensable for process control in the water and wastewater industry. The “0 x DN full bore” option for Promag W from Endress+Hauser is unique for this challenge worldwide: no straight inlet and outlet runs, no tube restriction and thus no pressure loss. This animation shows why Promag W delivers accurate measured values independent of flow profile and mounting location.

🎥 Behind the Scenes at the ECCSEL FASafe (Flow Assurance Safety) pipe setup - Part 2 We're excited to share more "behind-the-scenes" from ECCSEL ERIC and our CCS infrastructure in Trondheim. This time Svend Tollak Munkejord gave us a tour of FASafe pipe setup. This rig focuses on what happens downstream of a constriction, particularly with CO2. More or less the opposite of what we do in the DEPRESS facility that we featured in a video last week. "This setup is also very relevant for the Norwegian full-scale project (Longship), in particular for low pressure transport of CO2 in ships. When we scale up CCS it's important to have accurate descriptions of the CO2 phenomena, so we can make optimized and efficient systems. Our partners are eager to download our datasets and use it for validating their models", Svend Tollak explains in this video. Stay tuned for more NCCS updates from the lab! 1. Do you want to know if group decision-making is essential or not to plan pipe rehabilitation in water networks? 2. Do you want to know how many decision-makers are crucial to planning pipe rehabilitation in water networks? The responses to these questions are found in our recently published paper below:
