Do you know the importance of this important holiday? Do you know the difference between Memorial Day and Veteran's Day? If not, take just a few minutes and spend it with us as we talk about the differences between these two holidays.
Live a life worth living. In honor of those who made the ultimate sacrifice and are not with us today, live a life they would be proud of. Spend about 30 minutes with Michael and me as we discuss the importance of Memorial day and the difference between this important holiday and Veteran's day.

September 11, 2024 The border crisis has been moved, by the Biden/Harris Administration, across America to your state where your state tax dollars will have to deal with all the medical, hospital, educational, housing, crime and other costs for the millions of illegals. An army of terrorist “gotaways” are now in America. An estimated 100,000 gotaways a month, 1,200,000 a year. Are they criminals, sex predators, mentally ill, human traffickers, gang members, drug cartel members, terrorists or sleeper cells? An army of terrorists now in America will make the 911 World Trade Center look like a warm-up and no one is paying attention! Only 19 terrorists to take out the World Trade Center and we have over one million, per year, “gotaways” that crossed the border. Just think what 190,000 terrorists will be able to do. The border and America are not secure. Our cities are not safe. America is not safe.
Today, we remember the immense sacrifices made on September 11th, a day that forever changed our nation. We honor the bravery of the first responders, the strength of the survivors, and the memory of those who perished. On this Patriot Day, let us stand together in unity, as we always have, to remember and to proclaim: Never Forget.

September 11th marks a solemn anniversary, a day etched in our nation's history. It was a day of immense sorrow, a day that tested our resolve as a nation. In the face of unimaginable tragedy, Americans came together, united in grief and determination. Twenty-three years later, the echoes of that day still resonate. The scars remain, a constant reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment. As a deeply divided nation, the 9/11 Remembrance offers a powerful opportunity for reflection and unity. It serves as a stark contrast to the partisan battles that often consume our discourse. Let us remember the victims, their families, and the heroes who risked their lives to save others. Let us honor their memory by striving for a more compassionate and understanding society. Let us recommit ourselves to the values that make America great: freedom, justice, and the unwavering belief in the inherent dignity of every human being. May the 9/11 Remembrance inspire us to bridge our differences, to find common ground, and to work together towards a brighter future for all. #patriotday #neverforget #9/11 #september11 Colorado Springs Hispanic Business Council - The Hispanic Chamber The Adelante Leadership Institute United States Air Force Academy Randy Helms

How can we honor first responders? Say, thank you: A simple "thank you" can go a long way in showing appreciation for the sacrifices that first responders make every day. Follow their instructions: When a first responder is on the scene of an emergency, it is important to listen to their instructions and follow them closely.

Thanks to everyone who tuned into this episode of Masters of Influence! And for anyone who missed it, don't worry—you can watch it here. I had a great time talking to Nancy Erickson about all sorts of different things, including my experience in law enforcement and the military, crisis management, team-building, Family Media & Technology Group, and Parent Projects. Imagine a place where the silent sacrifices of military families are not only recognized but also actively supported. Where nature's tranquility heals, and the collective voice of a community advocates for the unseen and unheard. This is the story of the Betsy Eves Group—a narrative of how passion, when paired with purpose, can ignite a beacon of hope for military spouses, caregivers, and their families. But why does this work matter? Because behind every uniform, there is a family—a network of individuals whose love, resilience, and sacrifices underpin the very freedoms we cherish. Our efforts go beyond mere acknowledgment; they strive to ensure that these families are empowered, supported, and honored not just in words, but in every action we take. The challenges facing military families continue to evolve, and so too must our efforts to support them. Our annual letter is not just a reflection of what we've achieved but a clarion call to action. It's an invitation to join us in this mission of hope, healing, and empowerment. To stand with us as we advocate for change, nurture connections, and celebrate the unwavering spirit of our military families. Download and read our full 2024 Annual Letter today. Let it be a reminder of the impact we can achieve together, and the enduring power of a community united in purpose and compassion. https://lnkd.in/gHC2Q5Vm
