Nespresso's recycling journey began in Switzerland back in 1991, and our journey eventually led to the establishment of the Swiss Aluminum Capsule Recycling (SACR) in 2020, with the participation of industry peers. Such industry alliances today exist in several European countries. To make recycling even more convenient for consumers, we actively collaborate with governments and local authorities worldwide to integrate our capsules into public recycling schemes globally.
