For the 14th year in a row, we’ve received a “clean” opinion from an external auditor on our fiscal year financial statements. This is the best possible audit opinion, certifying that NASA’s financial statements conform with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for federal agencies and accurately present the agency’s financial position. The audit opinion reaffirms our commitment to transparency in the use of American taxpayers’ dollars. https://lnkd.in/ek-RefFU
Impressive dedication to transparency and accountability! Financial excellence is critical for ensuring public trust and advancing NASA’s mission. Good timing too ;)
Congratulations to NASA on achieving a clean audit opinion for the 14th consecutive year! This accomplishment reflects a steadfast commitment to transparency, accuracy, and adherence to financial principles. It’s inspiring to see such excellence in managing public resources, setting a benchmark for federal agencies. Keep up the outstanding work!
Great job, NASA!!! 👏🏽

3dAs former NASA Deputy Finance Director, I would have liked to see #who submitted this seeming feat of financial management achievement, #what fiscal year is or was the "14th" year of this 14-year remarkable achievement. It is #remarkable achievement of which you all ought to be proud, given a history of 7 prior #disclaimers "in a row" (2003-2009), broken by #modified opinion in #fy2010, followed by 4 "clean" opinions (2011-2014) "in a row," and NASA's first #CEAR award. Any #repeat? "The 14th year in a row" statement does #not add up for this former insider. It's been a few years and memories do fade. What did I get wrong? I still love and gloat about my NASA years and keenly follow its achievements.
