3 Valuable Things I’ve Learned in Group Project Settings: 1-Get everyone involved Oftentimes in a group project, a select few people take the lead and ultimately decide everything for the team. This is not the best approach, hearing everyone’s inputs and feedback allows for group cohesiveness and allows you to think of things from multiple perspectives. 2-Building a personal relationship Obviously getting the task done is the first priority. However, getting to know your team members before and during the process is very important. M.E. Yancosek Gamble had us do a couple of group exercises for my most recent group project, and I can confidently say it helped our group be more comfortable with each other. 3-Set a timeline Staying on top of everything can be challenging for a group project. Typically, tasks are assigned out proportionally to each member. Having mini goals of getting things done by a specific date restricts procrastination which can be very frustrating in a group setting. This allows you to be on top of your work and not feel like your letting your team members down. Psalm 34:14 #SOARFalcons

It's empowering to witness the expanding presence of Yara European Business Services at the "Projektų valdymas praktiškai" conference, hosted by Verslo žinios. This growing interest highlights the increasing significance of project management skills in our rapidly evolving business landscape. The conference's emphasis on the "practical" aspects of project management is particularly beneficial, offering actionable insights for every leader navigating through change. A few highlights that struck a chord with me include: ⭐ The criticality of testing and documenting assumptions in high-uncertainty projects. ⭐ The hidden toll of multitasking on our mental health and its ripple effect on productivity. It's a reminder that sometimes, less is actually more, and focused attention is the key to excellence. ⭐ The underestimated power of taking intentional breaks between meetings. These breaks allow "digestion" of information and significantly reduce stress. ⭐ The profound reminder that a project team is indeed a TEAM - not a collection of dedicated resources.
