Over the past four years of IPSS events, it has been a tradition to have an artist from Drawing Change visually represent key takeaways from the panels at our conferences. This particular graphic highlights the key takeaways from the panel Redefining Collaborative Development in Treaty 8 Territory, sponsored by Ovintiv. Here’s what we took away from the discussion: 1️⃣ The health of the land is intricately linked to the health of the people of the land. 2️⃣ There is great value in creating opportunities in local communities. 3️⃣ Indigenous people are proud of their land and want to be involved in everything that affects it. 4️⃣ Reinforcing the importance of open communication, it’s clear that transparency, trust, and honesty are foundational in building long-term relationships. 5️⃣ And, remember, as a friendly piece of advice - never show up without lunch! #economicreconciliation #undrip #IndigenousCanada

Cooperatives are such an added value to our communities, ecomomy, cultures, and future. Cooperatives - center people first. What’s good for all involved, pooling resources together to spread the good, what are acts that have sustainable effects, instead of refractive effects, decisions that work to better lives, not strictly profit from them. Coops exist in so many facets of our lives. Whenever possible - choose a Co-op! • Credit Unions (don’t have outside stockholders - members are the collective shareholders - decisions benefit the members/membership) • Grocery Co-ops (like PCC, Central Co-op) • Home care co-ops • Electric Co-ops • Agricultural Co-ops • Retail co-ops (Ace Hardware) • Worker-Owner Co-op (growing trend among businesses where owners are aging out and selling business to employees collectively) • Housing Co-ops …. And much more. Worth celebrating. Wanna have a positive impact - join a Co-op!
Join us tomorrow as we celebrate the 102nd International Day of Cooperatives! Under the theme 'Cooperatives Building a Better Future for All', we'll showcase the sustainable contributions of cooperatives worldwide.

Co-CEO & Founder @ Successful OnBoarding |💥Now is the time💥| Financial Advisor Recruitment | ☎️ (402) 216-4758
Jason Barber, CFP® - This is an incredible post and message. Congrats on finding TRUE independence and congrats to your son! 🚨Financial Advisors at Any Insurance or Product owned B/D or if you are in any type of Restrictive Firm/Situation. ➡️The hardest part of breaking free is making the decision to leap. Your current firm DOES NOT want you to find the promise land that Jason mentions in his message! ❓WHY? IT IS NOT in their best interest. They will scare you into thinking its impossible. They will try everything to roadblock you when they find out you are ready to leave. 😎When you make the leap, YOU benefit the most and your new firm becomes a partner, no longer your employer. YOU maximize your potential by having the firm work for YOU. BIG DIFFERENCE! ✅This is TRUE independence: 1️⃣ You own the book 100% - Call it what you want. 2️⃣ You really can do what is in the BEST INTEREST of YOUR clients. 3️⃣ You have the most choice of platform, product and approach. 4️⃣ You decide your path to partnership and future growth. 5️⃣ You monetize your business and maximize return. This means best payouts, lowest advisory bps, lower fees and high eventual valuation on the sale of YOUR book. ✅We are ready to assist in your new beginning! Now is the time. ☎️💬📩DM, Call, or Email: Scott M. This is the podcast every business builder should listen to on repeat.
Wonderful anecdotes from Founder and CEO, Hendrik du Toit who joined Bruce Whitfield on The Money Show to talk about the origins of Ninety One, how he built and globalised our asset management business in a time of huge political and economic change in South Africa and how lessons learned in the 90s apply to our business outlook today. 🎧 https://lnkd.in/ecdUza2C

Collaboration and Regionalism is the key to economic development success.
This week, the members of the BioPharma Crescent (Johnston County NC - Economic Development, Pitt County Economic Development / Greenville Eastern North Carolina Alliance and Wilson Economic Development Council), with the partnership of ElectriCities of NC and the North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBiotech), hosted clients and site consultants at the 124th United States Golf Association (USGA) US Open in Pinehurst Resort. This financial undertaking couldn't have happened independently and shows the effectiveness of collaboration. The US Open is expected to generate over $500M for the State's economy. And based on the activity in the merchandise areas... they may have alone surpassed that number! Congratulations also to the Moore County Economic Development Partnership and everyone in the Pinehurst community for hosting first class event. It was truly a "hole in one" experience. When one community wins, it's a win for the Region and the State!
