Decentralising cancer care can make treatments accessible across India Making healthcare more accessible has become a priority. The government has taken multiple steps, such as the Jan Aushadhi scheme and expanding the availability of oncologists and treatment centers closer to smaller towns. This decentralization is making cancer care more accessible. In the next 2-3 years, we can expect to see more localised cancer treatment centers, helping bridge the gap between access and affordability. #anesthesia I #oncology I #API I #Cancer_care I #China_plus_one I #spuriousdrugs I Mohan Jain I Prabhat Prakash I Naprod Lifescience Read more: https://lnkd.in/gWwqGcKt

🚀 Just caught wind of something big – India's stepping up its game with CAR-T cell therapy now up for grabs commercially. It's epic, really, considering what this means for battling cancer. Hats off to the brains making such leaps possible! But, here's the thing – while this is a giant leap, the price tag's not small change. We're talking about a cool ₹40 lakhs. it's a distant dream for most, especially our folks in rural India, where the daily grind barely fetches ₹350. The math just doesn’t add up. Now, let's talk reality and hope. Reality: for too many, advanced cancer treatment remains out of reach. Hope: prevention and early detection, especially for cancers like oral cancer, which is rampant yet preventable. Here at @Atom360, we decided to tackle this head-on. Our answer? An AI-powered app designed to catch oral cancer early. Why? Because we believe in making a difference, in flipping the script from expensive cure to affordable care. Prevention isn’t just better than cure; it’s a game-changer. Our app is more than technology; it’s a lifeline, making early detection accessible to those who need it most. It's about giving a fighting chance to everyone, not just the privileged few. Let’s not wait for miracles. Let’s create them by making healthcare accessible, one app at a time. Because at the end of the day, it's about saving lives, not just advancing science. #InnovationForAll #EarlyDetection #HealthcareEquity #Atom360 https://lnkd.in/dNN7NqRe
