EMBO Director Fiona Watt welcomed 400 members of the EMBO communities who came to Heidelberg to celebrate 60 years of EMBO. The first plenary session of the #EMBOat60 meeting features inspiring talks by EMBO Associate Members James Liao Academia Sinica, Taiwan, Gou Young Koh, EMBO Young Investigator Hind Medyouf and EMBO Member George Davey Smith. Newly elected EMBO Members James Liao, Arnaud Echard, Elif Nur Firat-Karalar, Philippe Pasero, Nenad Pavin, Monica Gotta (not on the photo), Yardena Samuels and Gou Young Koh received their certificates.
