At Living Well PT, we believe that the cornerstone of effective physical therapy lies in the relationships we build with our patients. Today, we want to share why we value these connections so deeply and how they contribute to better outcomes for our patients. Our PT Ashley Martin-Metcalf beautifully captures the essence of our approach: "I think one of the most rewarding things about being a PT, obviously, is the relationships with my patients. I get to actually help people and get them back to what they love and have those conversations and really get to meet with my patients and learn about them." This patient-centered approach is integral to our practice for several reasons: 1. Personalized Care: By truly knowing our patients, we can tailor our treatments to their specific needs, lifestyle, and goals. 2. Trust and Comfort: Strong relationships help patients feel more comfortable, leading to better communication and adherence to treatment plans. 3. Holistic Understanding: We believe in treating the whole person, not just the injury. Our conversations often reveal important factors that influence recovery. 4. Motivation and Support: Our relationships with patients allow us to provide the right encouragement and support throughout their recovery journey. One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is seeing the long-term impact of these relationships. Ashley shares, "There are specific patients that I've had reach out to me, you know, a year or two later, and they're like, 'Hey, I am signed up for a half marathon, or I am signed up for a 5K,' and this is someone that wasn't allowed to walk for X number of months, and you're just like, 'oh my gosh, you did it.'" These success stories fuel our passion and remind us why we chose this profession. At Living Well PT, we're not just treating injuries; we're helping people reclaim their lives and achieve goals they once thought impossible. Our commitment to building strong patient relationships is also reflected in our approach to appointments. We dedicate ample time to each patient, allowing for thorough treatment and meaningful conversations. As Ashley notes, "We get to spend an hour one-on-one with our patients, and for my friends that are MDs, DOs and PAs, they make it to only meet you and talk with you for 15 minutes or so." At Living Well PT, you're not just another patient – you're part of our family. We're invested in your success and committed to supporting you every step of the way on your journey to better health and mobility. Have you experienced the difference that a strong therapist-patient relationship can make in your recovery? We'd love to hear your stories! #PhysicalTherapy #PatientCare #HealthcareRelationships #PersonalizedMedicine #LivingWellPT

Most healthcare facilities regulated by an Office of Inspector General - hospitals, critical access hospitals, long-term care facilities, personal care homes, assisted living facilities -- seem to have consistently embedded Advanced Directive-related questions in admissions processes. Have you also made the question of an existing Advance Directive for Dementia a part of your admissions process, and if so, what worked well in terms of operationalizing it, and how long did it take for employees to think about it as readily as the general Advanced Directive? Public awareness is probably going to need to follow industry awareness on this one. https://lnkd.in/gjkH2_dV #culturetransformation #organizationalchange

Add Massachusetts to the list of States that have pushed ahead to get whole blood to the streets....and have saved a life because of it (see link below)! Kudos to the CANTON FIRE DEPARTMENT, Leo Reardon, MICHAEL ANDREW VALKANAS MD, Chief Scott Johnson, and the entire team for making this happen. Many more lives will be saved because of leadership like this! This effort required collaboration from Braintree Fire & Police, Brewster EMS, and Boston Medical Center (BMC), and all should be recognized for making LTOWB a priority. https://lnkd.in/eyDf34hN Randall Schaefer, DNP, RN, ACNS-BC, CEN | Mark Piehl, MD, MPH | Juan Duchesne | Tom Dransfield | Donald Jenkins | John Holcomb | Phil Spinella | Ben P. | Candace Pineda, RN, MBA,BSN, TCRN | Madonna Stotsenburg, DNP, MBA, BSHSA, BSN, RN, TCRN | Danielle Tatum, PhD. | Meg Marino | David Miramontes MD FACEP | Eric Epley | David Long, MA | Scott Dodson | Lekshmi Kumar | 410 Medical: LifeFlow | Kyle Chenet | QinFlow (Quality in Flow) | Heath Clark | James Roach, D.O., FACEP, FACHE | Jon Krohmer | Monti Leija | Delta Development Team, Inc. | David Vitberg, MD | Robert P.
