The Tacoma Venues & Events Department (TVE) is seeking to hire a full-time Maintenance Chief to join the Operations Department for the Tacoma Dome and Greater Tacoma Convention Center. Under direction of the Deputy Director of Operations, this is skilled work, in the performance and supervision of the set-up/tear-down and maintenance functions in Tacoma Venues & Events. As safety advisors, our expertise lies in conducting thorough assessments and guiding clients through the necessary steps to ensure these spaces are safe for public use. This means equipping venues with essential fire safety and operational gear. Especially when converting an empty shell into a functional event space. The image I'm sharing is an example of space conversion. A vacant space might be temporarily leased for events before its full-time transformation into a shop. Yet, it's crucial to address compliance issues during this interim period. Event managers often focus on the aesthetic and setup of the event space.
