The Artificial Intelligence Maritime Maneuver Indiana Collegiate Challenge, also referred to as AIMM ICC. We hope you are able to join us April 26-28, 2024, to see the innovative solutions developed by college students from across the state of Indiana. Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane) with the support of the Office of Naval Research (ONR) will host the AIMM ICC at Pokagon State Park, Indiana. This event was created after Congressman Jim Banks (IN-3) led a congressional funding addition for a partnership between Trine University and NSWC Crane – focused on advancing the AIMM effort. The unique partnership, funded by ONR, focuses on providing a low-cost, easy-to-build, low profile vessel (LPV) that can be made fully autonomous for a variety of mission sets; supply deliver system, stealth missions, locator purposes, etc. The grant allowed Trine University to purchase state-of-the-art equipment used to aid in the design and build of LPVs that will be distributed to each university participating in the challenge. Each university received a built LPV and sensor package as well as financial stipends to offset materials and labor. Purpose of the challenge: To demonstrate the ability to make a fully autonomous LPV and develop solutions for a mixed set of objectives. https://lnkd.in/gVbs9xVJ

"Research and attention regarding Unidentified Aerial Phenomena are almost entirely focused on their aerial occurrences. Yet instances of UAP at sea, whether under the surface or traveling “transmedium”—between the atmosphere and the ocean—are also known to occur. Perhaps the most widely publicized example was the “Tic Tac” UAP, described by Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet pilots as hovering above roiling ocean whitewater during a training exercise in 2004. The whitewater may have indicated a larger UAP below or that the observed UAP had emerged from the sea, suggesting an unidentified submersible object (USO). More recently, a transmedium UAP was observed by US Navy personnel onboard the USS Omaha west of San Diego in 2019. We have less research on transmedium UAP and USOs than is ideal, yet what data there is points to a few conclusions. First, these underwater anomalies jeopardize US maritime security, which is already weakened by our relative ignorance about the global ocean. Second, their presence in the oceans at the same time presents an unprecedented opportunity for maritime science. Third, to meet the security and scientific challenges, transmedium UAP and USOs should be elevated to national ocean research priorities." - Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet, PhD, US Navy (ret), Beneath the Surface - We May Learn More About UAP by Looking in the Ocean | Volume 1, No.1. Dr. Adib Enayati’s latest work, “Mechanics of Spaceborne Warfare: Redefining Orbital Suppression Dynamics,” presents a groundbreaking concept in military strategy, expanding on his prior paper, “Mechanics of Spaceborne Warfare: Exploring Anti-Satellite Operations.” This new approach, orbital suppression, employs diverse methods such as high-powered microwaves, precision jamming, and high-precision lasers to disrupt adversary capabilities without satellite destruction. Aligned with the United States Space Force’s mission, Dr. Enayati’s emphasis on redundancy, innovation, and strategic superiority bolsters the U.S.’s position in space warfare, ensuring national security. This highlights the crucial role of innovative tactics like orbital suppression in maintaining space dominance. Read More: https://lnkd.in/gNtdpAja

The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) recently released a report detailing 80 unidentified flying object (UFO) sightings by pilots in 2023, reigniting debates about extraterrestrial life. While such reports often cause public unease, researchers at Dakila Pesquisas Association have cataloged similar evidence for over two decades, arguing that the sightings defy conventional explanations. The report includes descriptions of objects exhibiting various shapes and behaviors, from high-speed lights to metallic structures defying known physics. Pilots reported objects following their aircraft for extended periods, performing impossible maneuvers. FAB's rigorous investigation protocol concluded that the descriptions do not match any known aircraft or meteorological phenomena. Urandir Fernandes de Oliveira, president of Dakila Pesquisas, emphasizes the need for open and transparent debate: 'We are not talking about mere conspiracy theories. There is data and concrete evidence that needs to be studied.' The association plans to expand efforts using cutting-edge technologies and collaborating with scientists across disciplines. As public interest grows, Brazil may be on the brink of a new era in UFO investigation. 'What is out there, in the sky, is an invitation to expand our boundaries of knowledge,' Oliveira concludes. #ufosightings #fabairforce #extraterrestriallife @dakilapesquisas
