Hybrid airborne technology combines high-resolution imagery and LiDAR in one pod, enhancing both data accuracy and efficiency by integrating these two complementary technologies. These systems allow for simultaneous data collection in a single flight or separate collections from a single aircraft mobilisation, reducing operational costs and time. With hybrid airborne technology, a wide range of applications, from urban areas to large-scale surveys, can be effectively covered in a single pass, ensuring geometrically and temporally aligned imagery and terrain models. Project Management Professional (PMP) | Data Analysis | Unmanned Systems: UAS - Space | All-Source Intelligence Analysis | ISR Operations | Active Top Secret // SCI
Trying to find c-UAS solutions in congested or friendly airspace is not easy. There is risk in using both kinetic options as well as broad-band or omnidirectional jamming that could cause problems with friendly or neutral aircraft. While no solution is without risk, using lasers and laser dazzlers could be one of the least risky options. I would like to see industry come up with more of these options.

Fibercore’s range of Erbium-Ytterbium (ErYb) doped fibers are deployed globally in LiDAR, laser and amplifier applications. They may be found in automotive ADAS units, civilian and military LiDAR ranging systems, satellite to satellite communications systems, high powered telecoms optical amplifiers and as seed lasers or amplifiers in fiber lasers. These applications present a diverse range of requirements on the fiber, subsequently Fibercore have developed three families of ErYb doped fibers to address these needs: Cladding Pumped (CP), Triple Clad (TC) and Double Clad (DC) fibers. Join us at International Operational Modal Analysis Conference IOMAC 2024 in Naples this week, May 21st - 24th, at Villa Doria D'Angri. We'll be presenting our Q1 vibrometry system for OMA and SHM. Our Q1 LiDAR system measures vibrations across 128 channels simultaneously allowing us to measure sub-millimetre displacements and vibrations of large structures without contact, in real-time. Key advantages include: Simplified Continuous Measurement: Direct measurements from ground or other accessible locations, reducing installation costs. High Sensitivity: Can measure sub-millimetre displacements and vibrations. Mobile Flexibility: Can be installed for continuous monitoring or mobile field work. Dual Mode Operation: Conduct both dynamic and static analysis with one device. Integration and Accessibility: GPS synchronisation and cloud access for seamless system integration. Visit our booth at International Operational Modal Analysis Conference IOMAC 2024 and see how Ommatidia's Q1 system can help improve your measurements. #IOMAC2024 #OmmatidiaLiDAR #Q1System #Innovation #StructuralAnalysis

No, it is not a mosquito. It's an insect spy drone which can be remotely controlled and is equipped with a camera and a microphone. It can land on you, and it may have the potential to take a DNA sample or leave RFID tracking nanotechnology on your skin. It can fly through an open window, or it can attach to your clothing until you take it in your home. One of the current areas of research reportedly being undertaken in the scientific/military field is the development of micro air vehicles (MAVs), tiny flying objects intended to go places that cannot be (safely) reached by humans or other types of equipment. *Pl zoom & see actual equipment.* This is fifth generation war.
