Standard camera views in SketchUp
- [Instructor] It is often helpful to change the views of our model so that they are more directly aligned with each axis. These are called standard camera views, and they can be found in the dropdown menu, Camera, Standard Views. As you can see, we have top, bottom, front, back, left, right, and iso. These views are really helpful when we need to create orthographic drawings of our model because they are perfectly aligned with each axis. For example, if I go to a Front view, and then go back to Camera and move it to Parallel Projection, I get an elevation view, or a 2D view of my model. Now, this is not as helpful when we need to keep working on the model, so I'll go back to Camera, Perspective, to continue viewing and working on my model.
