- [Instructor] Picking up from the import and prep video, we are going to trace over this newly imported and scaled floor plan image. If we begin tracing over this with our rectangle tool, we can quickly see that it's not actually tracing because we can't see through the faces to what we're drawing below. Once we get the outer edges of this floor plan, the image below is no longer helpful. So instead we need to turn on x-ray mode. To do that, let's go to View, Face Style, X-ray, and now this lightens up a bit, but we can also see below the faces as we draw them while still leaving them intact. Using the two dimensions here and here, we're going to trace over that and then surmise what the other dimensions are supposed to be. So I'm going to zoom in here and you can see that we can still see that blue axis here. So instead of seeing that, I'd like to go to Camera, Parallel Projection, and that sort of just flattens out our drawing area so that we can draw in 2D. I am in top view and if…
