From the course: Becoming an Ally to All

Allyship is a journey

- Do you know how to intervene when you spot non-inclusive behavior? Too often when we try to act as allies, we tack to one of two extremes. We worry that we'll make mistakes and offend someone, so we do nothing. Or alternatively, we don't reflect on the issues carefully enough, and we charge ahead uninformed. My name is Kenji Yoshino. In this series of videos, I explain what it means to be an ally at work. To act in support of groups to which you do not belong, such as a male ally on gender issues, or a white ally on race issues. This course will equip you with the proper tools so that you can act as an ally with confidence.
