We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Permanent MEP Commissioning Agent (HVAC, Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, LEED) to join our dynamic team in the MEP/AEC industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional technical understanding of HVAC systems and construction mechanical/electrical engineering, with a proven track record of 5+ years in the field. Responsibilities

As an MEP Commissioning Engineer (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, building construction), your responsibilities will include

• Designing, installing, and commissioning HVAC systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Conducting comprehensive system testing to ensure optimal performance and compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, project managers, and contractors, to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to HVAC systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
• Preparing detailed reports and documentation regarding system design, installation, testing, and maintenance procedures.
• Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in HVAC technology and industry trends to ensure the provision of innovative solutions.
• Regularly inspecting HVAC systems to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
• Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
• Ensuring strict compliance with all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  
  

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, etc.), construction management, or relevant experience in mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems - preferably as a commissioning agent/authority in the MEP space.
• Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools.
• A strong commitment to health and safety, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
• A proactive and innovative approach, with the ability to stay abreast of the latest advancements in HVAC technology and industry trends.
