Workplace verification via Recruiter license

Last updated: 2 months ago

At LinkedIn, we know that authenticity is key to creating meaningful interactions. Verifications provide job seekers with more trust signals about the members they engage in the job search process.

If you have access to a LinkedIn Recruiter license through your organization, you may receive a workplace verification on your LinkedIn profile and display a Verified Recruiter label when you send InMails through your Recruiter account.

The workplace verification on your profile and the Verified recruiter label in your InMails indicate that you’ve confirmed your association with the company currently listed on your LinkedIn profile.

Important to know

Visibility:
Your Verified recruiter label is visible next to your name when you send InMails using Recruiter. Your workplace verification through your Recruiter license is visible on your LinkedIn profile in the About this profile section and on the jobs you post.

Disabling the “Verified recruiter” label:

You can disable the Verified recruiter label from showing up when you send InMails using Recruiter by deleting the workplace verification. Note: If you send an InMail using your LinkedIn.com member account, the Verified recruiter label will not appear.

Deleting the workplace verification:
You can remove the workplace verification in your LinkedIn Verification settings by clicking Delete under your workplace verification.

Verification labels for recruiters are currently available only to corporate subscription customers, and are not available at this time to Recruiter Lite customers.

Please review the below topics for more detail on Verified recruiter label.

Recruiters without a Verified recruiter label

If you are a recruiter without a Verified recruiter label, it may mean you do not have access to a LinkedIn Recruiter corporate subscription through your company, or that you have chosen not to display the workplace verification through your LinkedIn Verification settings.

Recruiters who want to disable a Verified recruiter label

To disable the Verified recruiter label:

  1. Select Me > Settings & Privacy.

  2. Select Account Preferences > Verifications.

  3. Under Workplace, click Delete. Your Verified recruiter label will no longer appear.

Here's a tip

If you want to restore the Workplace verification and Verified recruiter label, you can re-verify your workplace and recruiter status at a later time.
