LinkedIn document ads are a type of Sponsored Content that allow advertisers to promote documents directly in the LinkedIn feed and on the LinkedIn Audience Network. Members can read and download the document content without leaving LinkedIn or, if you’re using Audience Network, the trusted third-party site where they see your ad.
Examples of documents include e-books, case studies, white papers, infographics, and presentations.
When a member views a document, they can download the file to their device. All documents will download as a PDF regardless of the original format.

If you add a Lead Gen Form to your document ad, members can’t see or download the full document until they click Unlock full document and fill out the Lead Gen Form. You can choose how many pages a member can see as a preview.
Lead Gen Forms aren’t available for single-page documents because you must have at least one page available as a preview.
