You can control the visibility of your profile photo. Posting a profile photo is optional, but it helps your connections and others to recognize you. In fact, members with a profile photo receive up to 2X more profile views and 3X more connection requests.

Click the
Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Click View Profile.

Click on your profile photo.

Click the
Visibility icon on the left of the Profile photo pop-up window, and select the visibility from the following options:- 1st-degree connections only
- Your network
- All LinkedIn members
- Anyone

Click Save.
To change the visibility of your profile photo in your public profile (as it appears in web browser searches):

Click the
Me icon at top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Click View Profile.

Click Edit public profile & URL on the right pane.

In the right pane of the Public profile settings page, you can change the details of your profile that are publicly visible under Edit Visibility.

Select one of the following options below the Profile Photo section to change the visibility to:
- Only 1st-degree connections
- Your network
- All LinkedIn Members
- Public
Note: On the public profile settings page, you’ll be able to see and adjust all the sections of your profile that can be displayed to users who aren’t logged in to LinkedIn and find you through a web browser or other permitted services.

Tap your profile photo.

Tap View profile.

Tap your profile photo near the top of the page.

Tap
View or edit profile photo. -
Tap the
Visibility icon and select the visibility from the following options:- 1st-degree connections only
- Your network
- All LinkedIn members
- Anyone

The change is saved automatically.

Tap the Profile photo.

Tap the Profile photo on your profile page.
- You can also tap the Camera icon on your profile photo to access the Edit photo page.

Tap
Edit. -
Select one of the following options from the Visible To dropdown:
- Everyone
- Connections
- Network
- All LinkedIn members

Tap Save on the upper-right corner to save the photo.

The default photo setting is Anyone/Everyone.

If you edit your profile photo visibility settings from your profile page, it automatically updates the settings on your public profile page too. For example, if you change your profile photo visibility setting from Public to 1st-degree connections Only, that change will also be applied to your public profile.

You can set different visibility for your public profile and the profile view your LinkedIn connections see. For example, you can opt to exclude your Posts and Activities, or other parts of your profile, from your public profile.

If your public profile is disabled (visible to no one), your profile photo visibility setting cannot be set as Public.
