The collaborative efforts of Wayne County Development Alliance, Inc., T. A. Loving Company, and WithersRavenel have worked to bring this project to fruition! This pump station will be critical in advancing industries and businesses in Wayne County.
🚧 **Exciting Progress in Goldsboro!** 🌟 Yesterday marked a significant milestone as T. A. Loving Company held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new River Bend Pump Station, a vital part of the transformative "Project Butter." This project is essential for the City of Goldsboro, NC's wastewater expansion, aiming to enhance the local wastewater system and support industry growth within Goldsboro and Wayne County Government, North Carolina. The event showcased the collaborative efforts supported by the Wayne County Development Alliance, Inc., with T. A. Loving Company and WithersRavenel as the design-build partners. This pump station will be critical in fostering economic development in our region. A special shoutout to Mt. Olive Pickle Company Inc., which has committed significantly by investing $36 million into infrastructure improvements at their facility. Their efforts will expand production capabilities and create valuable jobs right here in Wayne County. After the ceremony, the design-build team shared insights into the process, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives for our community. Together, we’re building a brighter future for Goldsboro! 🌍💪 #ProjectButter #Goldsboro #EconomicDevelopment #CommunityGrowth

WithersRavenel's Eddie Staley, PLS, GISP, a GIS guru, believes it is never too soon to learn about GIS, as he spent some time on GIS Day with elementary school kids, who were (mostly) all attention for what he had to say. How do we prepare our stormwater and utilities systems for increasingly frequent and severe wet weather events? This was the central question addressed in a recent Brightly Software webinar, “Wet Weather Planning: Predicting the Rain Versus Building the Ark,” presented by WithersRavenel’s Director of Stormwater Dori Sabeh, PE, GISP, and Practice Area Lead for Utilities Ken Orie, PE. Monopoly, the board game, got its start because of Lizzie Magie, a trailblazer, in the early 1900s. Today, we celebrate National Play Monopoly Day to recognize this much-loved game that has been a source of leisure for generations of families. In 2023, WithersRavenel's team put together a WR version to celebrate our 40 years!! #WRopoly #monopoly
