It takes a Vivvi 🧡! Earlier this month, we toasted 5 years of Vivvi Tribeca, our first Vivvi campus, which opened its doors in 2019. Current and former families, teachers and friends came together for a fun morning of music, movement, community building, and of course, catching up on all the growth we've achieved together. This milestone was more than just an anniversary—it was was a celebration of our incredible families, educators and team members who have built something special together. Cheers to our Vivvi journey so far, and to the exciting future ahead!

🗳️ Here at Vivvi, we are so proud to partner with Allyson Felix and Chamber of Mothers to remove child care as a barrier for moms heading to the polls. We want to help ALL moms - get out to vote, either for early voting or on Election Day, November 5, 2024. If you live in these cities (or know someone who does — please share!), here’s how you can get FREE child care support to vote: ➡ New York City & Westchester: Vivvi will offer up to a full day of child care to research your ballot and vote. ➡ Los Angeles: Moms can access childcare vouchers for early voting and Election Day voting with child care providers Brella. ➡ North Carolina: While moms and caregivers go to the polls and vote, Politisit will reimburse up two hours of child care. ➡ Western North Carolina: Having been devastated by Hurricane Helene, Politisit will reimburse up to a full day’s worth of child care to vote. Chamber of Mothers' Vote Like a Mother tool can also help you get informed, get helpful resources, and feel confident to vote. Check it out and sign up for these free child care, or access other information around childcare and voting, here: https://lnkd.in/gW5NUjxw

If you're a working parent that has voting on your mind (who doesn't!?), check out this workshop from our friends at LUMO, co-sponsored by Bobbie: "Setting Healthy Boundaries for Voting Parents" on October 22nd at 1:00pm ET/10:00am PST. This isn't just about election boundaries - it's about transforming your approach to boundaries with partners, peers, kids, and bosses. ALL THE BOUNDARIES, everywhere! Register here: https://lnkd.in/eSEgpCUj You'll Learn: ✅ LUMO's four-step process for creating rock-solid boundaries ✅ Ready-to-use boundary scripts for election conversations (and beyond!) ✅ Strategies for when boundaries are (inevitably) broken The workshop is sliding scale and 100% of proceeds will go to the Chamber of Mothers, "Vote Like a Mother Initiative". Chamber of Mothers is a national nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit uniting mothers as advocates to create a better America by fighting for paid family and medical leave; accessible, affordable childcare; and improved maternal health.

Today is National Working Parents Day and here at Vivvi we know that working parents are a huge asset to every organization! Working parents are motivated, productive, efficient, patient, compassionate and so much more. We also know that sometimes being a working parent can feel more like a liability in the workplace. Here's a good reminder from Psychiatrist & Mental Health Expert Christin Drake about how you can change that lens: 1️⃣ Adjust your inner narrative from perception to reality. Know that what we've been told about the value of parents in the workplace is distorted, and some healthy skepticism is in order. 2️⃣ Fake it till you make it. Remind yourself each day of the work you do as a parent and dig deeper to find the connections between your parenting skills and the skills that give you an edge at work. 3️⃣ Share your parenting skills loudly and proudly, they are a part of what makes you such a huge asset in the workplace. What are you doing to celebrate yourself on this National Working Parents Day? #nationalworkingparentsday
