Meet Mercie, one of our exceptional nurses in Macon, GA! Mercie has over 28 years of experience in pediatric home health and is pursuing an associate's degree to become an RN. Her journey into nursing was inspired by caring for her youngest son, who was born prematurely and required specialized care for several years. Mercie finds joy in training new nurses and introducing them to the pediatric home health field, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to provide the best care possible. She cherishes spending time with her husband, seven children, fourteen grandchildren, and cats named Spitty and Butter. Mercie also enjoys jet skiing, swimming, and crocheting. Meet Linda, one of our great BSRNs from Beaumont, TX! Linda has 45 years of experience in almost every field of nursing, including high-intensity settings like cardiac care and surgery. When she began working with medically fragile pediatric patients, her heart became open to the option that pediatrics could be a serious practice area for her. When she interviewed with Haley, the area's Location Director, she felt she found a place where she could thrive. Linda believes that Haley’s leadership and training have been invaluable. Meet Te-ko’rah, one of our incredible LPNs in Macon, GA. She has a background as a labor/delivery nurse and triage nurse and is pursuing a BSN, with aspirations to become a midwife and to champion better care for minority mothers.
