On December 16, 1944, the German army launched a massive offensive in the Ardennes Forest. The Battle of the Bulge would be the largest engagement ever fought by the US Army—and would ultimately stop Adolf Hitler’s Third Reich in its tracks. Tune in Thursday, November 21, as we kick off the 17th International Conference on World War II with a symposium exploring the Battle of the Bulge and its lasting significance 80 years on. https://bit.ly/3YWQnp9 Learn more about The Battle of the Bulge here: https://bit.ly/4hWRttK

Veterans Day also marked the opening of our latest special exhibition, Fighting for the Right to Fight: African American Experiences in World War II. Join us for the Opening Reception on Saturday, November 16, to learn more about this groundbreaking exhibit’s development and content from its curators.
