Today is Mesothelioma Awareness Day.   At Ransom Consulting, A Pinchin Ltd. Company, we understand the significance of raising awareness about mesothelioma. According to the EPA (2024), mesothelioma is a type of cancer that primarily affects the lungs, abdomen, chest, or heart, often caused by asbestos exposure. Asbestos, a mineral fiber known for its durability and heat-resistant properties, was commonly used in various building construction materials such as floor tiles and mastics, thermal system insulation products, spray-on fireproofing, and many more.
