Our team had the honor of attending the 38th Annual Grossmont Hospital Foundation Gala, themed ‘Boots and Bling.’ With nearly 600 community members in attendance, it was an inspiring evening celebrating 38 years of vital community support and healthcare excellence at Sharp HealthCare Grossmont Hospital. This gala aimed to support patient care, health education, and clinical research. As of today, Sunday Oct 27th, 2024, Premier Ambulance is still currently providing ALS resources supporting the 911 system in North Carolina and stands proud to have sent our dedicated crews and/or ambulances following the catastrophic effects of Hurricane [Helene/Milton]. Our thoughts remain with the communities impacted by these storms as they continue to recover and rebuild at this time. Premier Ambulance Teams Mobilized for Hurricane Helene Relief   Yesterday morning, Premier Ambulance deployed six units with a dedicated team of EMTs and paramedics to South Carolina to aid in the Hurricane Helene relief efforts along the affected East Coast. Our team is en route to provide critical emergency care and support to those impacted by the storm.   Hurricane Helene made landfall in Florida’s Big Bend region as a powerful Category 4 storm. While it has since weakened to a tropical storm, it continues to cause devastating, life-threatening flooding across Georgia and the Carolinas. More than 3.5 million homes and businesses remain without power, and emergency services are working around the clock to rescue residents trapped by rising floodwaters. Areas such as Tampa Bay and Charleston have reported significant damage.   Our team is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of these communities in their time of need. From providing immediate medical attention to coordinating with local emergency services, our team is ready to make a meaningful impact on the ground.   We send our well wishes and safe travels to our team as they embark on this critical mission.
