  • The Nos Quedamos 30th Anniversary Gala was an incredibly uplifting and unforgettable experience. As both the CEO of Lydia Sierra Consulting and a proud board member of Nos Quedamos, seeing months of hard work and meticulous planning come to fruition was nothing short of inspiring. Witnessing our community come together in such a meaningful way truly recharged my spirit. The energy in the room reminded me why we do what we do—it reignited my passion for strengthening the South Bronx. I'm honored to have been part of this milestone event and to witness firsthand the profound impact Nos Quedamos continues to have on our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, and continues to stand with us as we forge ahead. Coming together with all of you has reaffirmed that together, we can achieve extraordinary things. Here's to building a brighter, more equitable future for the South Bronx and beyond—together we stay, build, and flourish! -Lydia Sierra #lydiasierraconsulting #nonprofit #gala #NQ #southbronx

We had an inspiring time at Lydia Sierra Consulting's Tri-Annual Company Meeting this October! 🎉 Our team was delighted to welcome Michael Vann from The Vann Group, LLC, who presented the Predictable Success model, for an enlightening session on organizational growth and leadership styles. Before the session, we took a survey to discover our primary leadership tendencies. It turns out we have a well-rounded team of Visionaries, Operators, Processors, and Synergists! This diverse mix fuels our collaborative spirit and drives our mission forward. Mike shared invaluable insights on how understanding these roles can propel organizations toward predictable success. We're excited to apply these principles to enhance our impact. At LSC, we're passionate about helping nonprofits scale and achieve their goals. Through our expert fund development services, we can guide your organization on the path to success. Ready to take your mission to the next level? Let's connect and make it happen! https://lnkd.in/e4pv9eEm

  • Extra! Extra! Read all about it! This month, we explore the intricate dynamics of gentrification in urban America, focusing on the South Bronx. Drawing insights from Peter Moskowitz's "How to Kill a City" and Elaine Ruiz Lopez's "The Fight for Equity in the Bronx," our latest blog examines how systemic policies and corporate interests often prioritize profit over people, leading to the displacement of long-standing communities and the erosion of cultural identities. Discover how community empowerment and education can transform challenges into opportunities for preserving the soul of our neighborhoods. Join us in advocating for collective action to ensure urban revitalization benefits all residents. Read the full blog here: https://lnkd.in/e9e92cqb
