LSI, Inc. was founded as Logistic Services International in 1978 by two former Naval Officers to support the aviation and training needs of foreign militaries operating U.S. Navy aircraft and systems. For over 40 years, LSI, Inc. has supported a customer base that includes the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security, foreign militaries, and the largest military aircraft manufacturing and defense companies in the world. In 2006, the founders sold LSI, Inc. to the employees, making LSI, Inc. a 100% employee-owned company. A Diverse Workforce LSI, Inc. employs a diverse workforce that includes multiple engineering disciplines, highly skilled craftsmen, courseware designers and developers, artists, draftsmen, instructors, accounting professionals, contracts professionals, IT professionals and support employees. Australia is acquiring two AH‑64 MK 1 Apache airframes from the United Kingdom to be re-engineered into ground training devices in support of the Australian Army Apache program. CASG and Army personnel recently facilitated the transportation of the airframes from the United Kingdom to the United States via a Royal Australian Air Force C-17A Globemaster. Now that the aircraft are in the United States, work will commence to build them into advanced training devices that will support Apache avionics, mechanical, refuelling and arming training. They will complement a suite of other computer-based and lower fidelity training devices. #YourADF #capability #CASG #defence
