As Kitsap County’s behavioral health expert, we know that a community-wide support system is crucial to both recovery and to reducing the stigma around mental health and substance use disorders. That’s why we’re offering free monthly trainings in Mental Health First Aid. The trainings are open to adults, ages 18 and older. Next month we’ll be hosting two Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings in partnership with Kitsap Regional Library. Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings are designed to teach adults how to help adolescents ages 12-18.
