We had the privilege of touring the Perry Glass Studio at The Chrysler Museum while a student field trip was observing a live demonstration. The level of craftsmanship on display was truly remarkable. The expansion has tripled the studio’s original square footage, providing ample space to showcase its extensive glass art collection, which includes over 10,000 pieces. The additional space also enhances the studio’s capacity to host larger audiences for demonstrations, educational programs, and events in its 200-seat theater. Yesterday, our Intro to Construction Engineering & Management class welcomed Todd Bagwell and Alexander Mait, PMP, EIT from Hourigan! They taught students how to develop a Site Logistics Plan, a crucial skill for any project manager. After learning the fundamentals, students got hands-on experience with an exciting activity: they were tasked with creating the initial Site Logistics Plan for the UVA Alumni Hall project. Our latest multi-family project is complete! The Navigator is located in Richmond's Manchester neighborhood. The 6-story, 215,000 SF development houses 177 units, 8,825 SF of amenity space, a 98 car parking garage, and 6,300 SF courtyard space.
