We are proud to have many Veterans among our Associates, Medical Staff, and Volunteers, including Cynthia Schultz, MD, Neonatologist at CHOP Newborn Care at Doylestown Health. Dr. Schultz, began her career in the Navy when she was accepted into the military medical school Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland. She continued her training with a Pediatric Residency and Neonatology Fellowship within the military medical system. Dr. Schultz proudly served as a Navy Neonatologist until she retired in 2020. She says her experience in the Navy taught her invaluable life lessons. “The Navy emphasizes leadership skills and teamwork, which are essential qualities a Neonatologist needs while caring for newborns requiring critical care.” Happy Veteran’s Day to Dr. Schultz and all the Veterans at Doylestown Health and throughout our community. Thank you for all that you do, today and every day. 🇺🇸 #DoylestownHealth #Veteran'sDay
