As we transition from Baku’s #COP29 to Belem’s #COP30, the urgency for advancing forest management and tackling deforestation grows. In a session organised by the COP29 Presidency and the Plurinational State of Bolivia, the Joint Mitigation and Adaptation Amazon Regional Mechanism (JMA-ARM) was introduced, a sustainable, non-market strategy aligned with the #ParisAgreement.
