The Boeing-built #X37B continues to set the pace of innovation during its seventh mission. The Orbital Test Vehicle is currently performing advanced aerobraking maneuvers, taking it from a highly elliptical orbit and lowering its altitude using minimal fuel. The U.S. Navy and #MQ25 unmanned carrier-based refueler team has successfully simulated the groundbreaking Joint Precision Approach Landing System (JPALS). Developed and tested by PMA-213, NAWCAD-WOLF, and Boeing software teams, JPALS provides accurate “hands-off” navigation and guidance, a critical capability for the Navy’s first unmanned carrier-based refueler.
