This week, our Big Blue Marble Academy location on Paulding Drive in Dallas, Georgia had the privilege of welcoming State Representative Joseph Gullett as part of this year’s Georgia Pre-K Week celebrations.
Organized each year by Voices for Georgia's Children a policy and advocacy nonprofit organization, Georgia Pre-K Week was created to raise awareness for the importance of quality early childhood education. Now, in its 14th year, we are grateful to have played a part in celebrating the important work that our incredible teachers and #BBMAFamily do each day!
As part of his visit, Representative Gullett toured our beautiful school and learned how our spaces encourage active learning, play, and curiosity in a safe and nurturing environment. He spent time with our teachers and staff members and heard firsthand the passion that they have for our mission – nurturing little minds and growing big hearts.
Most importantly, Representative Gullett had the privilege of spending time with our precious students! He was able to talk with them and see their kindness, curiosity, and excitement for himself before reading A Magnificent Field Trip to the Governor’s Mansion by Malcolm Mitchell to our attentive young learners.
At Big Blue Marble Academy, we understand the importance of early childhood education, and we are so grateful to be trusted by thousands of parents with the nurturing and development of our precious young learners! The first five years are such an important time where our students are able to learn and grow cognitively, socially, and emotionally in order to take on the world around them.
Thank you to Representative Gullett for joining us, and thank you to Voices for Georgia’s Children for your work in organizing and supporting this celebration of early childhood education. We’re proud to be playing a role in educating Georgia’s children as they strive to reach their fullest potential!
