Last week, our CEO and co-founder Sadie Lincoln attended the EY Strategic Growth Forum as a winner of the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2024 Mountain West award. Her biggest takeaway? "Relentless curiosity, combined with relentless kindness, leads to remarkable success." Read more below.
Just returned from an extraordinary experience attending EY Strength Growth Forum with my fellow awardees of the regional Entreprenuer of the Year award. Shout out to all the bold leaders who attended. I am so inspired by you. I soaked up every learning moment as I proudly represented all 197 barre3 studios and our incredible team. I was surrounded by ambitous and generous leaders from all walks of life who were motivated to support our growth. After bootstrapping barre3 for 16 years this was certainly not lost on me and Chris! So grateful. ✨ A common theme for me emerged, whether it was from Eva Longoria or the president of Procter & Gamble Monica Turner or NFL football player and magician Jon Dorenbos - Life Is Magic ✨ Relentless curiosity 💡combined with relentless kindness 🧡 leads to remarkable success ⚡️💪🏽. This distilled idea applies to each and every one of us determined to impact our respective corners of the world. We got this! Giant thank you to my entire EY support team including Grace Schultz and Cameron J. as well as Blake St. Onge for nominating me. #EYSGF 2024

Team member spotlight! Meet Hannah Pscheid, barre3's Chief Marketing Officer. With 20+ years experience in growth marketing, advertising, and creative, Hannah heads up marketing strategy, PR, brand positioning and creative, customer service, communications, and franchise expansion at barre3. We asked Hannah what she loves most about barre3: "It's beautiful to think about the impact we have at barre3. I often think about the people who walk into our studios for a class, or those who press play from the comfort of their homes. Each and every day, all across the globe, these people are connecting with fitness in a new way—in a way that empowers instead of shames, one that challenges in an approachable and sustainable way instead of depletes." Hannah also remarks on "the collective passion of the barre3 community," especially the group of women entrepreneurs who make up the large barre3 owner network. "Each new owner brings their unique experience and wisdom into our barre3 network, and we become better as a whole."

You may be wondering, what if there's already a barre3 studio in my area? Is it still a possibility to open my own studio here? The answer most likely is–yes! Most markets can support multiple barre3 studios. We use a robust modeling system to determine where a barre3 studio would be best positioned for success. Barre3 is ready "to put the pedal to the metal," and the fitness industry is taking notice. In a recent article, Athletech News noted barre3's remarkable expansion over the past year: "It’s been a notable year for the upscale and community-focused fitness franchise, having acquired The Barre Code, a Midwest barre fitness brand, and increasing average unit volume by 27% year-over-year. Barre3 also partnered with WHOOP, the human performance company, allowing members to access their personalized health metrics. Barre3 co-founder Sadie Lincoln shared that while Barre3 has scaled sustainably, the brand is ready to put the pedal to the metal." Read more: https://lnkd.in/giCQMXCH

This one goes out to all the educators, unexpected mentors, and folks we meet in the in-between moments who profoundly change our lives. I loved being a part of The One Who Changed Everything series with Maggie McGrath Forbes and reflecting on my years as as a young woman who was frankly lost. I had no idea my passion for group exercise was worthy of a career—until I was seen and a door was opened that changed my life. Michael (Mick) Deluca is my “One.”Who is yours?
