Happy #NationalRecyclingDay! At Airgas, we’re grateful to have the opportunity to donate surplus items to organizations that make a positive impact in their communities. In 2023, Airgas donated nearly 300 welding helmets to ReIGNITE Hope, a group that helps people experiencing homelessness and former offenders learn the welding skills they need to get back on track. This year, we donated another item - Airgas West Region donated a 2016 tractor to help ReIGNITE Hope expand its mobile training program in California. Pete Armas, Fleet Manager - West Region, says, “Drivers put a lot of time and effort into caring for our equipment, so it can be difficult when a truck leaves the fleet. It’s great to see that this unit will carry on with the Airgas mission of helping people fill their potential.” #NationalRecyclingDay
