Inclusive leadership is the hallmark of successful teams. The more diverse the teams the more creative the solutions can get. For a desicion taken you need backing of the team and their support to see it through to execution. When they are involved they remain invested when they are not it’s a mere task. The output of the work produced is dependant on the involvement, intrinsic motivation and desire to excel all coming from the team to produce A class results.

Demonstrate transparency and inclusivity in decision making process which will encourage team members create a culture of open communication and also to share their thoughts and opinions without the fear of being judged !

Setting up of regular feedback sessions and team meetings, to make sure everyone can share their ideas. And encourage Leaders to listen to team input before taking decisions, helping everyone feel included and valued.

Including team mates in decisions definitely renders high concerns and ownership amongst the team. Team mates often take small spontaneous decisions and do not let the tasks hampered for what we call pseudo dependencies on the team leader allowing him to spare himself for other strategic or designing involvement. You can make them understand the objectives, in case team mates still need to conceive it in totality. This consequently will lead to more open discussion and subsequently resulting in constructive collaborations. Team mates having high capabilities but low commitments, can be challenged for constructive contributions while recognising their deliveries. People having low capabilities but high commitment, can be trained.
