Last week I had the pleasure of speaking at the @Partech Independent Thinkers’ Salon in Paris, weighing the surge in AI valuation and the future of tech. As we see with our enterprise customers at @Prolific, the AI demand is astronomical. This means understanding how to best tackle the evolving landscape to make sustainable investments. I had a great discussion on the panel with J.P. Morgan’s Antoine Bruyns, FlexAI’s Dali Kilani, and Partech’s Omri Benayoun to reflect on these developments and forecast opportunities. Drum roll PLEASE...🥁 Say hello to our Multiplayer Grant winners in partnership with Prolific! 🎉 🌟 Abhilasha Kumar - Assistant Professor of Psychology - Bowdoin College As a computational cognitive scientist, Abhilasha will be using Gorilla to create a collaborative online game, understanding situations in which agents help each other and search collaboratively for solutions. 🌟 Philipp Chapkovski - Post-doctoral Researcher - University of Duisburg-Essen Philip’s research will be investigating how political alignment influences engagement and information sharing during collaborative word encryption tasks. 🌟 Wendy Ross - Senior Lecturer - London Metropolitan University Wendy looks at creativity and problem-solving from a collaborative perspective and will be building a face recognition task in Gorilla. 🌟 Ioli Baroncini - Postdoctoral Research Associate - University of Mannheim As a researcher in Psycholinguistics, her goal is to understand whether bilinguals benefit from using both languages in conversation, leading to greater task success in a shared Map Drawing task. 🌟 Mattias Sjöberg- Postdoctoral Research Associate - Durham University Mattias’ research is focused on how people make sense of each other in interpersonal, intergroup, and leadership situations.
