It’s been nearly 4 weeks since Hurricane Helene hit, destroying whole communities across six states in the south-eastern US and claiming more than 100 lives. Having spent the last few months in North Carolina I have grown to love this beautiful state and the people who live here. Therefore even 4 weeks on seeing the destruction caused by Hurricane Helene, I am reminded there is still much to do to rebuild.
