You may be asked for a two-step verification code if you have it enabled on your account. You may also be prompted for additional challenges for added security for your account. These challenges include verifying an additional email address or phone number associated with your account and sign-in security prompt for password reset.
Once you have completed the password reset process, you’ll receive an email from us confirming the change.
Note: The verification code is valid for a limited time. Once you successfully sign in, you can add another email address or a phone number to make sure you can always access your account in the future.
If you're not receiving LinkedIn emails, confirm that your email settings are correct. If you're unable to sign in after changing your password, try clearing your browser's cookies and removing your saved passwords or sign in with a different browser.

Note: If you did not initiate the password reset request, someone may be trying to gain access to your account. Please reset your password to protect your account. We also recommend that you enable two-step verification on your account to prevent unauthorized access. If you are locked out of your account, please contact us.
